Uperio 200mg Tablets contain a combination of sacubitril and valsartan, used to treat chronic heart failure. This medication helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization by improving heart function and reducing the strain on the heart. Uperio is particularly effective for patients with reduced ejection fraction, enhancing their quality of life and managing symptoms of heart failure.

Dosage/Direction

The usual starting dose is 100mg taken twice daily. After 2-4 weeks, the dose may be increased to 200mg taken twice daily, based on the patient’s response and tolerance. Always follow your doctor’s instructions and do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Side Effects

Common side effects include dizziness, low blood pressure, hyperkalemia (high potassium levels), and kidney dysfunction. Rare but serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions and angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of the skin). If you experience any severe side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
