Active ingredient

The active ingredient in Gyno-Daktarin is 2% miconazole nitrate, which belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It works by destroying the fungi that cause the infection. 

How to use

Using the applicator

• Wash your hands.

• Push the plunger to empty the cream, then withdraw and discard the applicator.
• Wash your hands again.

• Headaches.
• Vaginal bleeding. 

Precautions

• Allergies: Do not use this cream if you have a known allergy to miconazole nitrate or other similar antifungal medicines.
• Contraception: The cream can damage latex, so it may make condoms and diaphragms less effective. Use an alternative form of contraception during treatment.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding: You should consult a doctor before using Gyno-Daktarin if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
