Antepsin tablets belong to a group of medicines which treat stomach ulcers and inflammation of the stomach lining.

The usual dose of Antepsin is two 1 gram tablets to be swallowed when you get up and two tablets at bedtime, or one tablet four times a day before meals and at bedtime. You should not take more than 8 tablets in any one day. Your doctor will tell you how many tablets to take and how often.  Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Precautions

Antepsin may not suit everybody. Some patients may have unwanted effects, although these are not usually serious and do not last for long. If the unwanted effect is severe or lasts for more than a few days, you should tell your doctor.
