• Hepatitis: In rare cases, liver issues, including hepatitis, have been reported. Liver function should be monitored before and during treatment.
• Pancreatitis: Inflammation of the pancreas has been associated with vildagliptin. Symptoms include severe and persistent abdominal pain.
