Usage instruction:

Feeding table: Pre NAN is for use only under medical supervision. The following feeding table can be used as a guide. Institutional use: the physician should calculate the desired total daily intake of water and energy for each infant based on his/her weight and energy requirements. The daily quantities should be divided into the desired number of feedings. The volume of water and the weight of Pre NAN powder should be measured precisely. Weight of infant in grams - total daily amount of water in ml* - total daily quantity of Pre NAN powder in grams** - total daily quantity of prepared formula in ml**: 1000 - 140 - 25 - 155. 1200 - 170 - 30 - 190. 1400 - 200 - 35 - 220. 1600 - 225 - 40 - 250. 1800 - 250 - 45 - 280. 2000 - 285 - 50 - 315. 2200 - 310 - 55 - 345. Until very low birthweight infants achieve adequate intakes of formula, they should receive a multivitamin supplement including vitamin D, to avoid deficiency.* This may vary based on temperature and humidity in the environment of the baby. *Assuming a target supply of 120 -125 kcal per day. *At 80 kcal per 100ml of prepared formula. Wash your hands before preparing baby's formula. 2. Wash bottle, teat and cap or cup and spoon thoroughly until no milk remains. 3. Boil for 5 minutes. Leave covered until use. 4. Boil drinking water for 5 minutes; allow to cool. 5. Consult feeding table; pour exact amount of safe, drinkable, previously boiled, lukewarm water into sterilised bottle or cup. 6. Only use scoop# (must be level) provided. 7. Consult feeding table, add exact number of scoops for age of baby. 8. Shake bottle or stir cup with sterilised spoon until powder is fully dissolved. 9. Close tin tightly after each use. Store in a cool dry place. Use within 3 weeks after opening. 1 litre = 161g powder + 900ml water/scoop mass: 5.4g.
