Aptamil AR Milk Formula 400g

Aptamil AR (Anti-Reflux) is a specialized infant formula designed to manage regurgitation and reflux in babies from birth. Its thickened formula contains carob bean gum, a natural thickener that helps reduce reflux while remaining gentle on digestion.

Enriched with DHA, GOS/FOS prebiotics, nucleotides, and essential vitamins and minerals, Aptamil AR supports brain development, immune health, and gut comfort. It’s suitable as a sole source of nutrition for infants up to 6 months and is recommended for use under medical supervision.

Preparation

• Always wash your hands and clean all utensils and dishes you use to prepare food.
• Sterilize the bottle and teat by boiling for 10 minutes.
• Boil clean drinking water for 10 minutes; allow to cool down (40C). Pour the amount of boiled and cooled water recommended in the feeding guide into the sterilized feeding bottle.
• Add correct number of level scoops of Aptamil AR 1 powder. Lever each scoop with back of clean knife. Do not press down.
• Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the dry substance is completely dissolved. Place a sterilized teat on the bottle. Before feeding, check the temperature of the milk by putting a drop on the inside of your wrist. Feed the baby immediately after preparing the milk.
• Clean the bottle and teat immediately after feeding. Do not re-feed with the rest of the milk. Store milk powder in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place, but not in the refrigerator. Use within three weeks after opening.

Storage

Tips for storing and using milk:

• For hygiene reasons, do not store made up feeds, discard unfinished feeds within 1 hour.
• Do not heat the milk in a microwave due to the risk of hot spots forming in it, which can cause burns. 
• Use within three weeks after opening.
