Empiget 10mg Tablets contain Empagliflozin, a SGLT2 inhibitor used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus and reduce the risk of cardiovascular death in patients with established heart disease. It works by blocking sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 in the kidneys, promoting urinary glucose excretion, thereby lowering blood sugar levels. Empiget is effective as:

• Monotherapy when metformin is not tolerated

• Add-on therapy with other antidiabetic agents including insulin

It also supports weight loss, blood pressure reduction, and renal protection. Recommended dose: 10mg once daily, with or without food. Each pack contains 14 tablets, suitable for a 2 week starter regimen.
