How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glucophage 1000mg tablet is to be taken with food.

Precautions
Taking metformin with alcohol can cause lactic acidosis and you may experience malaise, respiratory distress, slow or irregular heartbeat, sleepiness, stomach upset, or other unusual symptoms.Glucophage 1000mg tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy and breast feeding.Glucophage 1000mg tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease.Dose adjustment of Glucophage 1000mg tablet may be needed.
